I am a GIANTS fan Bigfish, it's all about winning the superbowl. Nobody cares what you did in the regular season....
:grins::grins::grins: |
no need to rub it in anyones face.... you guys played a tight game, nice work.
|
True. Just remember how it felt when you lost to the Ravens last time. Sux's
|
I guess all Giants fans don't have class....I choose to win the same way I lose....to give credit where credit is due.....with class. I refer you to the Sports forum.
Congrats to you just the same Iceman.....you are cold. |
Sorry about the "no class" comment Iceman....that slipped by the CROW that is stuck in my throat!;)

It's all good BF
:lm: |
Seriously Iceman...congrats....the Giants were just awesome!
|
Come on Lawrence lets not get all misty eyed. They are from NY you remember. I wouldn't say awesome just better tonite. God now we are going to have to listen to that douche bag M. Morris for the next few days.
|
Now can we stop with the stupid,
Pats, best team ever Brady, best qb ever Belichick, best coach ever |
No Ronnie....we got that! Just lost 1 game....when your team goes to the Superbowl as many times as the Pats do.....you might lose 1 once in awhile!:tooth:
|
At least they were in the conversation and at least they are not run by some senile lunatic too stupid to turn over the reins to someone competent

That 1 game was the most important one ! History is now changed forever! |

the pats are mortal again. As the sox say WHAT TILL NEXT YEAR
|
I have to give credit where it's due. Brady is one hell of a QB and I believe that he is the best ever. He spent most of the game picking himself up off his ass, and still threw for over 250 yards, and no picks. You can look at a lot of reasons why they lost---Brady isn't one of them.
Every great QB lost a big game or two--even Montana. I still remember the Giants destroying him to the tune of something like 40-3, or maybe even 49-3, in a playoff game. |

Spoken like a true fan whose team won a big game. Pats had a great season....I`m proud of them even with this loss. :pats: |

:rotf2: only for a non Pats fan..... :rotf2: |

NEVER .......the pats are the greatest team ever they didnt have to win the super bowl to prove that they only lost one game all season long ======================================== Patriots "are" the greatest team EVER TOM Brady "is" the greatest quarter back ever Bill Belichick "is" the greatest football coach EVER and nothing .... even a super bowl loss is gonna change that !!! |

Keep believing that !!!:rotf2::rotf2::rotf2::rotf2::rotf2::rotf2: |

Should`nt you change your avatar since you jumped ship to reach glory ? :rollem: |

the pats will just have to regroup and try again next year. Eli is better than Peyton BTW:uhuh: |
I'll go to the ticker tape parade for a couple hours tomorrow....NY is buzzing today....
|
As it should. Humble pie taste like crap. Enjoy yourself. My mood is as grey as the weather today

Sorry to break your bubble, but there are a couple of other teams that went 18-1 and won the game that counted most. 84 Niners--the Greatest Team Ever. 85 Bears. There may be others but those are the two I remember off the top of my head. |
you didn't break it
my patriots pride Bubble
is made of impregnable spherical diamond that cannot be broken and there's absolutely nothing anyone can say that will make me think otherwise Let me make that perfectly and ultimately clear as i say and truly believe as i stated previously NEVER .......the pats are the greatest team ever (to me) they didn't have to win the super bowl to prove that (to me) they only lost one game all season long (and i'm very proud of them) enough said... :wave: :patshelmet::patshelmet::patshelmet::patshelmet: |
as good as getting a 50lbs-new york giants were the better team when it counted.

Great game and its unfortunate that their has to be a winner and loser the fact that the game was close speaks volumes for both teams. |

As miserable as I am right now because it feels like a few doors closed that might never be re-opened (Seau getting a ring, Moss getting a ring, 19-0, one more Super Bowl win for our "old and slow" guys on the team) it's still been an awesome run that might not be over. Still an great core of players no matter what happens this off-season. Being the day after the sting of it all is pretty sharp but with time I think the dominance of the past decade will come back into focus, Super Bowl loss or not. You can't take away those previous 3 Super Bowls or the record stats. The Mannings combined don't total the Patriots Super Bowl victories lately. So I'm ok with it. Misearble but ok as it was a great game and a good team won. There's been a lot of winning lately for the Pats even if the most recent biggest game wasn't a W. Incredible game with an awesome "Brady-like" finish by Eli. The Giants wanted it and they took it by imposing their will. Can't go on the road like they did and then win it all without heart and skill. Plain and simple. Congratulations on a big and deserved win. We know how good it feels. :patshelmet: |

16-1 and that 1 loss wasn't in the superbowl !:rotf2::rotf2::rotf2: |
Did they play an easy schedule like the 72' Dolphins?:raiders:
|
Quote:
No, and not only did they win the super bowl, they blew out the Vikings! |
Quote:
:raiders: then the refs gave the Raiders the game against the Pats in the playoffs:wall: |

You mean the team that was just on the loosing end of one of the biggest upsets of all time !:rotf2: |
