WOW! interesting needles/hook hangers on them....that top needle looks to be a copy of the ones that were made with the hanger wire all the way through to the top of the plug then bent over...as to date no one seems to know who made them. But atleast a doz. or so are in collections who's owners are on this board....those are great:claps:
ps...keep those away from VB |

the picture didn't do them justice
so i enhanced it to see the grain.... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...b1/needles.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...1/needles2.jpg |

So , who made them ?
My first few came from down south but were found on Marthas Vineyard :) VB |
not fair you got way too many
|
I'm getting the feelin there's no one left alive to tell who made them...if I ever cross over I'll make sure to get word back.
|
Is that any time soon ?
We are waiting :gh: |
if I gag on a turkey bone from the soup, but I dought it cause I'm gummin most everything these days so it'll get caught before she hits the pipe.
|
My wife puts bones in my soup too .... must be a conspiracy ..:yak: ... nice snout nose, pointy arse needles ... going to have to try that profile this winter for next year ..

I'd think you would have to use a very long screw eye in the nose of that beauty to keep from breaking that snout off. Looks like they have something wrapped around it to reinforce it, or is that for weighting? Very cool plug.
I hope Cape Nut Grape has some of those for me to see when I stop by finally. If he does Fred I will measure it up and blueprint it and send you a copy and if he doesn't I will stop by Jim's and measure that one in the pic up |
Ya, what ever you guys make I want one
|
u was there an didn't see but one..gettin old???
P...thats a grommet on the nose. |
for reinforcement?
|
no..it's a nose ring ....ya it's to keep it from splittn.
|
you talking about the bottom one ? ... looks like there was a problem there .. almost looks like a little piece of duct tape wrapped around there ..
|
Eddy..it's a steel grommet with tackle box dust on it..no tape...they sit in a heep in a tackle box as I type.
