How could you possibly have fit that huge laundry list of items (that you posted) into a boat that size? |

I have no use for a trashed hull...But, how much are you asking for that nuclear sub?

what happened to the engine and the rest of the boat...salvager?

P23,
Are those pics taken from the vicinity of the accident, or did the boat drift a ways? Just curious as the spot looks very familiar. The swells can come out of nowhere sometimes if its the place I think it is. |
It's where you think Mike.

I fished that same area the same morning he was washed up. I must have been there before him because I definitely did not see his boat. The swells were huge that day. |
I know the area too. But this thread is on the hull and not an opportunity to beat another horse please :tooth: , thankyouverymush :nopain:
|
I didnt get a chance to beat the horse the first time. Is the list of items a joke. Come on... Tell me it is
|
Holy SH!tz....I fish off the rock right off the stern in the pic on the left Quite frequently!!! Man, that is a tough, tough spot to get washed up.
Sorry for the loss, but glad you're ok. |

whale rock was actually an old lighthouse- infact, I forget which hurricane it was, but the lighthouse keeper rowed his boat in for supplies and left his wife and children out there right before the storm struck- He had no idea it was coming.. The next morning all that was left was what you see now- just the base of the lighthouse.. poor guy. :(

Bruce get your "new boat" fast...
you have only four years left to fish in 2012 Hillary Clinton gets elected that's when! the earth decides to self destruct! game OVER ! :grins: |

The base station was in the cove to the left- you can still see the granite boat ramp and pillars.. that story and the story about the father who watched all 3 of his children get washed off of the road in the school bus @ mackeral cove is so tragic :( |
The whale rock story is different though. The assistant perished, not the guy's family. The lighthouse steel was not anchored to the base and it was pushed into the sea by the waves.

i'm just getting started and warmed up with our health talks Crafty although a good teacher knows not to over saturate his student... same as putting butter on popcorn...to much and it spoils the crispy Tecture of the popcorn and the crunch factor is lost... my concern was you might be eating the artificially flavored microwave popcorn ,,,because that stuff is like radioactive waste the flavoring goes into your house air and you start having health problems in your lungs... the people in the factory that make it sued the manufacturer and won a big settlement "in fact" for respiratory related illnesses |
Thanks, Raven, I just saw a report on that a while ago - nope, I'm strictly old school, right in a pot with oil and real butter melted on the side -
Of course, some times I do cheat and use Jiffy Pop :hihi: Just kidding - jeez, do they still even make that stuff? Ooops, sorry, somebody call the authorities, hijack in progress... |
i am wondering now
how to say
land of the rain or land of much rain in some American Indian or rather native American language... and instead of thinking of building rowing dories that require no gas we should all be workin on an ARk.... :uhuh: 50 cubits by 50 cubits,,,, what the frig is a cubit? anyways? slip would know.... prolly can't type cuz he's all stapled of late... and cape sams is like  |
this is an authorized Hijack
the ship ran aground...it's treasures LOST to the sea...
and the thread had obviously derailed into a saga of the lost light house... so it was time to shine some light.. :jester: |
