Opening day of deer season is tomorrow. Going out in the woods of central Maine.

couple halloween shindigs then hitting the surf sunday morning.

Trick or Treat!

No Trick or Treat this year....kids say they're too old. Thought I'd be happy not trudging around with them, But i'm gonna miss it.

Tonight, play around with the PC....converting all my CD's to digital format.

Tommorrow morning gonna take 1 last try at some fish before I call it a season.

Sunday Football and yard work

Big Halloween adventure tonight - kids are 4 and 6 so it will be a blast and with no work or school tomorrow, we'll be hitting it hard.

Last trip of the year is Sunday am. I'll be emptying out the eels from the garage and hoping to get one last decent fish, something to hold me over. Then I'll be yanking the boat next week. I may make a schoolie fest trip the week before t-day, just a ritual to say good bye to the ocean for 5 months.

I feel like the weekend is already gone and it hasn't even started yet!!

Candy nite tonight. Maybe fish tomorrow night. Flying to Atlanta on business Sunday.

Stay out of our neighborhood. we had like caravans/suv's lining up to drop of kids last year. It was amazing. I guess I won't put the beer keg out for parents this year.

Went fishing this morning I did ok big blues some nice size schoolies.

with this economy Im hitting every damn house in the town, we may need the candy to survive on over the winter months.

I'm suprised that you would go trick or treating Jimmy. Isn't it just a version of Socialism with costumes? Come on. Going from house to house in a nice neighborhood asking for people to give you something for nothing?

good point, however in my family, we dont call it trick or treating, we call it "democrating". We go around the neighborhood looking for handouts.

I then charge my kids a "tax" be eating 35-40% of their haul. Since we are nearing a democratic administration, I'll be eating 60% of their candy if they bring in over 250 pieces. I want them to be penalized for working harder.

Last football gamefor my kid. They haven't thrown him the pass yet even thou he is the only wide reciver on the team. He starting to get very down on himself, I hope they heave one his way ,kid is tired of blocking:bshake:

Was out last night but came up empty.

Going to hit the surf again late tonight and Saturday night and probably do some blackfishing during the day.

yeah, seeing that I live in Salem, I'll be lucky if I even get home tonight! :wall: :rocketem:
other than that, may do some fresh water fishing (I've given up on the salt, though fish are prob still around)
then band practice

Sign the P&S pending an oil tank inspection and see if there are still any fish around.

Taking the little one trick-or-treating, and then jumping into the car and heading down to LI for some fishing out east with a friend or two who live there.

May be my last hurrah for the season ... hopefully not, but will be fishing hard.

Looking forward to Haunting with the kids and other parents tonight,My neighbor will be carrying the back pak with the cold ones and the kids will be hitting up the houses for some candy the weather is perfect for the kids to roam our neighborhood.

Also this weekend we will be adapting to our newest member Abby,Wednesday we adopted a 3 1/2 yrs old Golden retriever she's in great health and spirit.
The kids are psyched about her so it's only going to get better.
On another note the Kids have soccer games on Saturday and Sunday the Wife & I have a hall pass to Mohegan Sun for the night got the penthouse suit plus Rascal Flats tickets for free so bring on the beers!

Closing up the house at the cape tommorow morning for the winter. Sunday maybe shoot over to Bears Den to pick up some stuff.

Actually, I was on the rocks before sun-up this morning with another old timer like me and we were talking about blackfish - he said he used to fish with a guy who was pretty danged good at it - the guy's name was 'Red' I think he said ;)

Maybe some early morning forays on the rocks - the Fat Lady is warming up in the wings around here big time.

Saw seals yesterday afternoon out around the Drive porpoising and grabbing fish, then thrashing them back and forth on the surface to kill them - man, what a commotion they made, they were big, too - it was like National Geo live. They had a school trapped up against a small reef 150 yds off Graves and were wailing the Jehovah out of them :hs:

Seals...yup, goddammed #*&$#*# seals, rotten son of a #%*$&#% seals, no good #*$&%*#....:smokin:

work saturday, fish/ painting/ final paper for school sunday.
