Gas $2.31 will it go below $2 this year?
 

I paid $2.31 yesterday at a Cumby's near work. That's a big drop in a short time. Will it go below $2 this year?

demand was down to 7% less than july of 2007
so i say yes
people are driving less

Diesel is still 3.40.
I wish diesel would drop as quickly as gasoline.

i predict 1.50 by next summer. I have insider information.

Paid $4.03 in Menemsha 2 days ago at the dock.

It was still $3.75 at the dock in Fairhaven 2 weeks ago when I pulled my boat. I'll top off at home by can and save over $1.50 /gal. Might take a while but it'll be worth it.

That would be nice,Im really optimistic about things but I dunno I guess we'll see come summer.

I'll second that,I was @ Fort Devens all day & by the time I left gas droped .04 cents.

i have a friend who is a ecomonist. $3.00 to $3.50 within 90 days. have oil heat? buy it now.

$2.10 @ rte 6 cumby's in Westport this morning.

As long as those tanks, choppers, and jets are moving in the Middle East, Diesel prices will continue to be ridiculously high.

Expect to wait until at least 2010 for diesel to drop back down near unleaded like it used to be.

$2.07 in New Bedford yesterday.

Just called my home heating oil company - this mornings price is 2.65 - it was 2.55 a couple of days ago when I got a fill-up on my tenant's tank.

It went up on election day the dispatcher told me :hs:

Well they are at 1.99 at 2 stations in Attleboro now.

What's the new target? Will it hit 1.50??? :)

I live in Baltimore Md and it was $1.99 at our corner gas station this morning.

Diesel is 2.85

I was in the lovely city of Roxbury today gas was only1.97 not bad.
I like this trend of dropping gas prices,with the Holidays just around the corner every little bit helps us all.

I can't make the gas gauge move!!
I have driven 205 mi since I saw you and I have used less than 7 gal of diesel.
I am going to have to find a way to hide the decrease is fuel funding from my wife.

Told ya!!!! I was late by 7 months though. My brother in law is a Texas Oil man. He told me it was all over last June.

We are going to see it back under a buck, if oil keeps dropping. :wave:

The price is ~40% of what it was... trip costs for fuel would be sub-$400 instead of $850ish..

I was thinking about buying an option on10,000 gal of gasoline futures and take delivery on it in June if things turn around. Now...where can I store it when it arrives?

We would be much more inclined to run if the fuel was low; otherwise @4+/gal you end up waiting for weather AND reports, not just weather...
