Striper Cup 2009 - Team S-B - Who's In?

Striper Cup 2009 starts May 4th (Details, details, details :tooth: )...

Lets get a list going for Team Striped-Bass.com

Usual rules, no need to weigh Team fish under 30 (35?) pounds.

Come up with a better internal listing of fish weighed in to keep track of our stats instead of relying on OTW?

IN: Shore, Boat, Shore & Boat

Thanks!

John

tobias 04-22-2009 08:52 AM

I'm in, shore.

seadogg 04-22-2009 09:59 AM

i'm definately in for shore, but possibly considering shore/boat.

Back Beach 04-22-2009 10:30 AM

I'll probably do shore, but I suggest the minimum size shore fish is 35# and minimum boat should be based off the multiplier of 35#X 1.2=42#

So I'm saying 35# for surf and 42# for boat should be our team minimum.

Swimmer 04-22-2009 10:36 AM

ME..........shore

nightfighter 04-22-2009 10:59 AM

Boat, maybe shore too

redlite 04-22-2009 12:00 PM

Already signed up for the both divison.........Gonna be a dog fight with team striper putting together an even better team than last year and rumors of another allstar team being put together. It will take a lot of luck and perserverence for us to take it back.....

My 16yr old son wants us to join this year, I have 1 question though if you sign up with team affiliation, do your fish still count in individual class? Thanks

Yes, any team fish do count towards individual totals.

BassDawg 04-23-2009 10:37 AM

i'm in, SHORE~~~~

and i'm predicting the trifecta for Team S-B.
biggest striper, anlger of the year, AND The Cup!!!

and redlite's right, we MUST be relentless.
how's about ya angler229, linesider69, doc, luds, clogston,
we could use some more hep~~gents!! :bl: :bl: :bl: :bl:

Cool Beans 04-23-2009 12:51 PM

I'm in for Boat, will be out in boat 3 or 4 trips a week.
Son wants to catch something large :)
I won't weigh-in anything under 40 pounds.
Would be nice to help S-B get the title back.

BMEUPSCOTTY 04-23-2009 04:42 PM

I've been tossing this back and forth all winter.... Some of the off season threads on the cup had me on the fence.... ah, what the hell. I'M IN.

Gunpowder 04-23-2009 04:52 PM

another question that is probably relevant to most fisherman here (assuming OTW tournament isnt the only tournament people sign up for)... can a fish count towards multiple tournaments standing? i.e. if i caught a 40# bass and had it weighed in, could i submit that to the OTW striper cup AND say the Fisherman Mag. Dream Boat Challenge tournament? or does that vary from tournament to tournament... also would be overlapping a little with the MV derby... just curious.

johnny ducketts 04-23-2009 07:03 PM

what the hell, i am in again for the shore, who knows maybe this is the year I catch a weighable fish from shore.

Rob Rockcrawler 04-23-2009 07:58 PM

Im in for the shore division. Ive been kicking it around for the past 3 years, its about time. Is there a weigh station on block island? :)

striperman36 04-23-2009 08:02 PM

What happened to the "I'm with Numbskull" rhetoric you were spewing ?

Sandbagger or hermaphrodite?

leptar 04-24-2009 12:37 AM

Do you have to subscribe to OTW?

What is the entry fee?

Yes you can use the same caught fish for all the above tournaments.

You can register online at http://onthewater.com/OTWstore/otwst...percupreg.html also Yes there is a weigh station on Block Island at Block Island Fishworks ( I believe you can register there too).

Go easy on him, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. The path from eel fisherman to plug fisherman is long and arduous. As an eel fisherman he will first need to be reincarnated as a worm, then pig, then ape, then little league coach, then fly fisherman.....at which point (and much to his wife's relief) his testicles will fall off and, undistracted by earthly needs and rewards, he can proceed to highest and purest level of the angling world, thereafter living out his life as a shining buddah to others less fortunate (except, naturally, for his own children to whom he'll always be an embarrassment). Now both of you go contemplate your navels, your base mumblings distract me and are ruffling my karma. Carry on.
