As every year I get yelled at ;) , I must wait for some other dates to get nailed down.


How does March 5th or 19th sound?

Any date but Feb 5th works for me. Hopefully it can be in March, as I really would like to attend this year.

Every date will have some kind of conflict for someone, unfortunately. The month of March is tough for me all around due to my pre and post groundhog day celebrations...:buds:

The Super Bowl doesn't make it tough for me but I thought some guys who plan big parties might be in rough shape. I can't go on 2/5 because we're taking my son on a Disney Cruise for his birthday and are leaving on the 5th.:wall:

Mikey and I both cannot do the 5th.

RoyL has #^&#^&#^&#^&eloads of pics, maybe we can wrangle him into doing a presentation on fishing in general. He has a lot of accomplishments and I think it would be great to hear how his mind works.

February 5th is the MSBA Annual Banquet and awards night. I know of a few regulars that would not be able to make it.

That was the one date I had not looked up - and that often interferes - and was on my list to check. Thanks for the heads up.

We can't have a tfctfn without the Bombas, it just wouldn't be right...I withdraw my request for Feb 5 and say we do it on March 5.

Feb 5th I am in NH for my boys from Holyoke annual ice fishing tourney. Mikey has kick ass Celtics tix for him and Trishy. Any other day we can make it.

Backbeach is right. Other than JR who owns the site and has last dibs on choosing dates, second dibs go to the Bombas because without them TFCTFN would never be the same.

I agree with Mike. Dead of Winter. Feb is a "nowhere" month. I am in for Feb 5.

it is a yearly Too friggin cold to fish night out

we get together at the VFW in Fairhaven sometime around 7 until whenever. It's a potluck dinner, the Bomba bros. do an awesome job heating up and serving. We sometimes have some kind of entertainment and always have a fundraising raffle
where many items are donated, a lot of real cool stuff too.
It's a blast
ya get to met many characters from the site.

Feb 5th I'm in N.H. skiing. Any of the March dates are good.

let's lock this down for March 5th. Looks like the Bomba Bros can make it so let's just do it. I hate this indecision.

JohnR The status of the availability of the hall will not be known until Tuesday when the book keeper arrives at the VFW.
Since I'll be in the area that day I can place a deposit for the hall like the previous year and you can reimburse me.
