MSBA Show Who's Going

I'm getting anxious, its been a long time since I had a booth at the MSBA show, who's going? I will have some sweet plastic for sale, swing by the Ledge Runner Bait booth and say hello. Long range weather looks good, hate setting up or breaking down in the rain.

See you at the show.

BigBo 03-21-2011 11:09 AM

Mmmmmm Ledgerunners

I'll stop by Bob. Probably be there Sunday with my grandson.

chefchris401 03-21-2011 12:17 PM

need to look at the commando bags so i can figure out style i want to use on my custom.

need to buy some more GRS plugs and say hello to gary.

Ill swing by and say hello, need to get some new stuff to try out.

Probably have the girlfriend with me.

Love to go but just tooooo far of a drive this year. Stonehill College was great last year. Plymouth MA, not so much this year.

Rob Rockcrawler 03-22-2011 03:29 AM

I think this will be the first time that i havent made it to this show. JUst a bit too far away and the balance is a bit low.

UserRemoved 03-22-2011 03:50 AM

I'm going just to keep the rubber vs wood balance in check :hee:

Come see the new Salty's Little Weasel, Big Fish tin, Go Fish tins all the new kits including the great new hand carved kits and more!

Waldo the wonder dog performs on the hour all day.

This is the last show for us this year and probably forever.

Purchases over $75 get a free classic 330 tin while they last!

Slingah 03-22-2011 06:24 AM

I am going with the Lurker......

numbskull 03-22-2011 06:55 AM

Saw the CTS blanks at RISSA and now I want to see the Century blanks at MSBA.....since I need to keep up with the Back Beaches....and building expensive rods is a lot easier than learning to cast right.

afterhours 03-22-2011 07:17 AM

I'll be there for the first time in years:). 40's, polaris', jointeds, hats, tees, etc. stop by and say hi!

ThrowingTimber 03-22-2011 08:01 AM

Yup. I think I'm going to try and hit all 3. I need a new seat on one of my rods at CMS and want to get in on some of Mike's sales too. If I don't make one it will be MSBA.

I'm trying to fit in all 3, too. I'm definitely hitting M&D's and MSBA. If I have time, I'll stop at CMS on the way home. I don't really need anything, but I can always find something to buy. I also really like the casual atmosphere at the MSBA show. Besides, I missed RISSA this year and I need to renew my OTW subscription.

New DEEP FORCE 3 oz will be at MSBA

2 Attachment(s)
I will be there with good show special prices on my regular surf line-up of striper bling.I will also have the new Deep Force line of jigs that have been wreaking havoc on TUNA in NC this spring ( see the 80 in 300 lb specimen below, caught 2 weeks ago) .They come in 9 oz, 7 oz, 5 oz ,and for you surf guys ,now in 3 oz. This little one casts like a cruise missle aimed at a Dictators tent! :devil2:I cast it into a strong wind last week and it went farther than the 3 1/2 oz Nautilus. I hope to see many of you this weekend!

JackK 03-22-2011 10:28 AM

Might be carpooling down on Sat... M&D's early for plug rigging supplies, then MSBA for window shopping. Don't think the bank account will appreciate much plug ho'ing.

Either that, or stalk some RI waters in an attempt to catch the first stray schoolie of the season :fishin:

eelskimmer 03-22-2011 10:34 AM

Since I sold my car to pay for NIKO's
cod trip in May I will have to pay at
MSBA expo in Wampum. The expo is
in Plymouth, the home of Wampum???
Problem how do I get there. If you see
me along side Rt 3 with my thumb out
please stop.
Carless and poor.
:smash:

I plan on going. Not sure if Sat or Sunday yet as I need to call Smokey and twist his arm to go too.

eelskimmer 03-24-2011 12:26 PM

Looks like a new show

Go to http://www.msba.net/
and click on expo for
a list of exhibitors, a floor
layout and list of speakers.
Seems they got a hell of a
lot of boats, plus a casting
area for flycasting and distance
surfcasting. All that in addition
to food concession and a genuine
pub. Got my favorite brand of
beverage, Jamieson's Irish---
so you won't have to ask
what 'll ya have, John?

tynan19 03-24-2011 04:01 PM

Possibly road tripping with the family on Sat to the show.

niko 03-24-2011 04:19 PM

me and the boy are taking a ride down on sat

What snowmobile?

tynan19 03-24-2011 06:11 PM

Bill, I am still up in the air but am pretty sick of driving to Maine every weekend. Still 4-5 ft in the Mountains.

Well, the Maine Penal System needs guards...

Moses 03-24-2011 07:14 PM

Definitely hitting MSBA & M&Ds this weekend. Just not sure which days although I'd prefer saturday.

striperman36 03-24-2011 07:40 PM

Mike is going to have to hire a policeman to keep order. I think the line is forming around 5. you have to get a wrist bracelet to get in

DJ Muller 03-24-2011 09:43 PM

FYI-
I happened to get my hands on a load of the Sabo jigheads...killer! If you are looking for a 1-1/2 ounce jighead that doesn't drive to the bottom like a like lead head does, check these out! Swing by Booth 47. Check em out...say hi. Also got a good load of hot teasers, sand eel knock offs. Ouch. Plus other surfcasting "hard-to-find stuff."
Looking forward to seeing almost everyone. :jump1:
