I hate this &^**#&#$ COMPANY!!!!
My FIOS bill had constantly been going up and I'm tired of it. I pay online (paperless) and shake my head and pay, going up all the bleeping time. Now I am up for changing plans so I detail look into what I've been playing and they have been slamming me an extra $15 per month for some third part billing scam / cram for 6 months. I have all sorts of problems with verizon for my business clients from missed appointments, to billing issues, to saying services are available to find out they are not, to screwing up installs. VERIZON - YOU SUCK!!!! |
Cramming? I'll have to keep checking
|
John, if you need a referral to COX let me know i will get you the friends discount.

Verizon is my largest customer and I know they are in the middle of switch upgrades etc. That being said I am not a customer of theirs.
I had CLECS Reseller services etc. etc. for years. and switched over to Verizon for my Business when i bought the building I am in currently. I got in 2003 a 256k line which at the time was fine. This service included 5 email accounts at 5 mb per email. Once again fine 2003. Two years ago I needed to upgrade my e-mail service due to the lates revision of autocad requiring much more space to send drawings etc. I called to increase my service size on my e-mail(domain name email) THey basically said they could not do it. I went ack and forth with them for a month trying to increase my e-mail. They basically said sorry nothing we can do. So I moved My service to someone else, |
The third party billing has been going on for years, they love getting restaurants with it. this is how it works as told to me by a verzion employee who frequents my restaurant.
they call you asking if this is Mr. XYZ? or to make sure the number is business listed as XYZ Business, once you say "yes" to "confirm" they are allowed to add any services and charges to your bill, from basic small charges to service charges for monthy options you never "techinally" agreed to. The larger your company is and the higher the bill the more "services" they will add to your bill, because they will probably slip past you. where the basic person would notice, a $15 increase, they will add small charges like $1 or 2 at a time every few months, and before you know it your paying thru the nose. My dad still has a land line for his business and checks his bill every month as he was getting charged for all sorts of things he didnt sign up for. you can usually get the charges reversed or at least dropped my calling customer service and asking for the person in charge, skip the out sourced tech people and go to the higher ups. They credited my dads bill and removed all charges. We now have magic jack for just $1.70 a month:rotf2:, but really we do, works great for the basic calls. |
sounds criminal :fury:

The biggest scam is the yellow page company from India. They try and get you to agree to a listing in some fake business yellow page. Then they bill you for 300 dollars and send you a fake yellow pages. They get you pretty easily the first time.

Yup you can thank the wireless people that are taking over the top of the company. They outsource everything they can to save money, and then the reps have to go back and fix everything to placate a customer... |
Come monday its gonna get worse with verizon. Strike begins tomorrow night Call me a scab monday morning!

They can keep on billing me that $300 until the end of time, too, as far as I care. It never gets paid, but somehow, they never seem to send it to a collector. :grins: |
I work with Those guys all the time it is what it is. I am not doing anything that is taking work away from them. I am going to be staying away from any of the larger CO offices. I honestly hope they get a new contract and it all works out. But I am sure if there is a line I will be harassed.

There was a line did not cross.
Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Do you have to cross there picket lines to get to work now? I work in motor vehicles working on there trucks as a non union employee and it sucks right now with all them picketing I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with that right now trying to work to support yourself and your family and be called a scab and harassed over it
|
I am not crossing any lines it just exposes me to liability. The offices That are manned have active lines remotes do not. Yesterday I was blocked from entering an office and would not cross. They will need to provide security and entrances for me to enter an active office.

Did you hear about the trunk in Tewksbiry that was cut?

Guys - don't trash my Verizon Sucks thread. Please start your own Verizon Sucks thread. :jump1:
They cut a trunk line? Really? :wall: |

Sorry John LOL they cut fiber trunks in seven locations disrupting food service for a couple of towns. Union leaders claimed it was faulty material creating the problem.

I wouldn't go that far. If this strike happened in the 80's or the 70's my life would be in danger for working in these buildings.
There are reports of other problems being created now as well. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
they also blamed it on the rain said the lines got wet

Nothing but a bunch of scam artists!! They got caught down here in Jersey a few years ago and had to pay plenty!! Biggest scam they had going was mass mailing for fios (which is not available in S Jersey) You call and they sell you a "Bundle Package" with a 1-2 year contract!! thinking your getting fios. Funny, all of a sudden the mailings stopped when the state dept. of consumer affairs got calls! |
The hoards are out in Middleboro.
|
