I would like to congratulate someone everyone knows here on S-B. In his short fishing career he has become a legend on the Canal for fishing hard and catching big. An all around great guy!

Thanks guys, we couldn't be prouder of him. Ty and I were talking on the ride home about some of the great people we have met and fished with through S-B ,and how the site has helped teach us (ok, him) how to fish. So thanks John for the great site. Lou fished with Ty last month and recommended him to Mike and Ryan.Can't thank you enough Lou, you made his day and then some. I knew about it but didn't say anything to Ty about it. This morning we fished again and Ryan and Big Dave came down to meet up with us I can't describe the look on Ty's face when Ryan asked him to be on the Jr Pro Staff, he was stoked. He's one happy young man today. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate everything you have all done to teach him. Someday, maybe Ty will share his secrets with me and I'll be able to land a fish or two...

Man the look on his face this morning was priceless, like a kid at Xmas only better. He was so stoked.

Then we got to see some new 2013 rods and protos and mess around with those.

Great work Andy, you raised a great kid.

Let me know if Ty wants to try any of the rods I have out before he makes his picks.

i showed his picture to my 6 year old son,Tyler, who is just getting started, and he said "I want to be just like him!"... a legend begins!:)

The simple fact he has overcome such tough genetics and still be so sucessful is amazing. Seriously, he is a great kid and although he is surely pumped, you should be just as happy Andy. Great job on all those early morning "Biology" field trips.
