This whole story was Media driven, starting with Obama's comments !
Had Trevon Martin been white we would never heard of George Zimmerman !

I think the rioting is largely a right wing fantasy.

Not sure what all the drama and suspense was about. I love how all the pictures shown in the media were from when the kid was like 7 or 8 years old... Because any recent pictures of him had him throwing up all sorts of gang signs and what not. :smash:

No, it may have become a 'good shoot' AFTER he got out of his car with a 9mm and put himself in a situation HE DID not belong in, was not trained for and was told not to get out of his car.

Bottom line, a kid is dead because Zimmerman got himself into a situation he couldn't handle without deadly force.

His martial arts instructor pretty much said he was a wuss, couldn't throw a punch.

Good thing he had a concealed weapon while on neighborhood watch against the orders of the local PD. If he didn't he would have never got out of his truck and we wouldn't have had this tragic media circus to entertain us.

Maybe had the kid not been suspended from school for having drugs he would not have been visiting his father that day.
Funny how the media barely mentioned that & only put out pictures of a much younger kid than one of him 17 & at 1st called Zimmernam a White male, then eventually called him a White Hispanic.

He tried taking the law into his own hands. Dispatcher said do not follow him and he did. If he wasn't strapped he probably would have listened and let the police handle it.

I haven't given two #^&#^&#^&#^&s about this court case because its been sensationalized by the media... But I'm with Westport mafia. Zimmerman was a want to be cop trying to apprehend a "perp". If I was cutting through someone's yard and someone like Zimmerman tried to apprehend me, I'd probably end up putting up a fight as well.

Agreed. Zimmerman is a dead man walking. If he was packing before he will be wearing two shoulder rigs ankle pieces etc. public opinion made the guy guilty long before the case was heard.

It's fairly telling when MSN writes an article on the jurors and makes sure to detail four of the jurors are white women. The other two race was not revealed. The whole thing stinks. From Zimmerman following the kid to the multiple "interpretations" of the 911 call prior to the case being heard. To the POTUS levying an opinion prior to any of the real facts being heard.

Zimmerman is an idiot, a poster boy for delusions of Grandeur. Trayvon was not some innocent kid either.

Bottom line is there were not sufficient facts to convict Zimmerman in a court of law but per Hammurabi's code his eye will be taken, dont know when. But he will wind up taking some one else out. Or he will be taken out.

This case should serve a lesson to all about how the media manipulates facts to distort them to serve their agenda. NBC has just admitted that they "edited" his statement to make it look like he stalked and killed Martin. This is definately true for politics as well. I truly believe that I can't believe anything i see or read any more will be 100% truthful unbiased journalism. There was once a day when any news that had any skewed opinion in it was not considered news and then considered "opinion". Those days are long gone.

Its funny, if Zimmerman had the done the exact same thing - getting out of the car, calling the police, etc and saved someone, he would have been called a hero. He was trying to do the right thing.

I prolly watched 80% of the trial and couldn't believe the speculation, conjecture and twisting of the facts by the press. What a bunch of BS.
The Press is based on sensationalism, viewer numbers and $$.
They are So far away from reporting the facts and unbiased journalism it comes nowhere near the original purpose the press was intended for.
I give those Women on the jury tremendous credit for not caving into emotion, and arriving at a verdict based on the evidence and Florida law.

My son asked me what i thought of the case just bfore the jury went into deliberation. My response was that I hope the justice system works and that the jurors make an honest determination based on the facts. I explained how the media manipulated (not just NBC) the story to sensationalize and did more of a disservice than anyone, especially Trayvon & Zimmerman.

There wasnt enough facts to convict him. But "IMHO" and thats OPINION, is that if Zimmerman wasnt trying to be a Herowannabecop the kid would be alive, and prob in jail where he belongs. Hey bud, you cant fight, your not tough, leave this to the real cops.
