I'd like to post my ad for Ledge Runner Baits on SOL, but can't remember my password, can't seem to reset it or anything; can someone forward me Tim's email so I can ask for some help. Obviously I'd like to post under my same user name.

I don't know whether Tim can add advertisers any more. You may have to go through his platform host, Huddler, out in San Francisco. Lots of changes over there since you've been away.

This is my home.... I know many here who check in there, and vice versa. But some good folks there. Share my interests in striper fishing, plug making... Certainly a larger audience if one were not successful on our limited classifieds board. Sure, they got rules. (some I don't agree with) And Huddler, and a different business program than exists here... But it does no one here any good to be making negative comments, even if it was meant as humor.

You gotta walk on eggshells, have your attorney proof read your posts, and thanks the owner of the site 3 times per sentence for "letting" you exist on the forum.

i've been "over there" for 13+ years, never had a problem...ever...if you got bounced from there, you might want to take a look in the mirror...

I've never personally had a single problem... My statement is based on observing how others have gotten dealt with. it has been better the last year - year 1/2 , but about 2 years ago you couldn't mention companies, suggest where to buy something, or any specifics on helping others find gear directly related to topic discussion.

It was like the guy "butts" talking to his wife on the prison phone in the movie 'escape from Alcatraz". The guard kept cutting in every sentence restating the rules on what you can say and not say.

Ok... I'm done explaining my comment, before this turns into a 15+ page argument like .... sol.

I go there for the BST, mostly browsing.

In regards to rules, i did get a kick out of the Salty's plugs fiasco. Is it ok to say the name now?

Still no reply from Tim, might have to register as a newbie to post anything, but maybe if some are registered and could post you saw the Ledge Runner Bait business was up for sale it will have the effect I want by getting the word out.

Screw it, I posted on SOL, lets see how long the post hangs in there. At least I might get a little exposure and enough people will know to generate some networking. Last time I dealt with Tim, I was cashing his check for a lot of 100 of my 13" mega jerks:).

Or 15 pages of nonsensical jibberish about who can drink the most cheap vodka and catch the least amount of fish while holding hands at the end of a jetty. Oh wait, that's just the RI forum alone. Still not sure if anyone actually fishes in there :confused:

This site has the best of the best, IMO. So many good to great anglers in one setting who are willing to contribute. People have fun on here, but the quality of posts related to fishing is much higher than elsewhere.

That forum has improved a lot over the last couple of years, for some strange reason. ;)

Well, I put this site's sticker on my car, so that's gotta count for something, lol. In seriousness, both sites have been a God send to a newbie plug builder like myself, and and I can't thank you all enough

Boy if it's there I can't find it, even after going in 9 pages into the plug for sale forum, oddly if I search for it I find it. But try to post and I can't, frankly I'm surprised I was able to post it in the first place, I would have liked to post a picture just to bring it back up to the top. Each time to try to do a password reset it fails, I don't have the time to sign up and start to post to get to a point I can do anything with that thread.

Chat it up on there if you can, that might help my cause. I found it funny to find a few threads on my old baits, people buying and trading them; several have poured molds out of some of my bigger baits. I guess I'm flattered to see people wanting to duplicate it.
