narragansett bay meet up
 

we should do a Narr bay meet up this year. Maybe do some fishing in the morning then anchor up at potters or patience and BS, have some lunch, exchange some tips, stories, check out eachothers money pits, ect.

We could probably hook up to a mooring in potters for a couple hours without any hassle.

Some of us have been doing a fluke tournament for the last couple of years. Choose up boats and crew, go fishing and meet for dinner afterwards. I think Vic organized it last year.

Could do a double header,,, narra at daybreak on the 7th in the boats, kids day at little Compton late afternoon,,
or the next on the 14th
I made my first trip to narra last yr on the 18th, found some fish and plenty of bait,,,, luv that place :fishin:

I'd trailer down for a get together and some fishing, if this crappy weather pattern ever breaks. Hope to get the canvas and gear loaded Saturday and then I'll be ready for a short local hop to make sure everything is ready. Anyone seeing any migrants yet, should be a mass of something soon.

BB, where the hell you been? JFig and I ran together this morning. Didn't catch squat but it was fun putting a face with a name.

Ive been back out front fishing in my confort zone. Steady pick of 15-25# this morning on topwater until the teeth came and ruined it. I should be out again in the morning if i can get some work stuff done today. You guys going to be out and about this week?

Don't know about Joe but I'll be out with Chris on Thursday.

didnt make it that far north this morning or I would have hailed you guys. Been staying south.

%^&^%# morning up north. I was off the water by 7:30. Windy, kinda cold and no bait to speak of, never mind fish.

Phew,, glad I stayed here, north side CC really bumpy but fishy

My Pop and Mom turned their nose up to a cruise this morning seeing the clouds and cool weather so we puttered around, got some stuff done on his car he wanted repaired.

As I go to get the parts at parts store, guy I fish with regularly says he's on a school of bunker all by himself with big bass attacking it. :fury:

Yeah, there were some fish taken later in the morning.

The term big bass is all relative. I consider 30# a good fish. Some consider 15# a big fish. It's all in your perspective.

I have 97 hours (according to my GPS) on the water so far this year, have been on bunker since 5/2 and still haven't seen a fish over 25#.

we were on fish early morning for a bout an hour. Biggest fish was around 18-20# (seeing alot of this size around right now). Then it got real lumpy. Were still a couple weeks away from bigger fish showing up in numbers where i usually fish.

Paul, 97 hours already!! you do 3 100 hour services a season??? Im impressed.
