sunday October 25th. if you've got a boat bring it to fairhaven at 7ish. if you need a spot on a boat - start begging and calling in favors. pray for decent weather. for the uninitiated - a bunch of us go out in the same general area and have a bunch of laughs and catch a bunch of tog. it's a good time and we try and accommodate as many non boating S-Brs as we can

If anyone would so kindly have Tyler and I on their boat I will bring anything we will need.

You really don't need to bring anything but I am fond of Dewars, lobster rolls and home made apple pie. ;-) LOL

My boat is coming out Wednesday. I have a bunch of surf trips planned so I'm out.

Ross, if you go, I could use a ride and would LOOOOOOVE to go back out on one of these. I'm still on some pills, so can't drive until November (for the Bell's Palsy). If you want to go, I will pay for gas. I'm relatively sure that if we were a package deal (sounds so cozy), that someone would oblige with some boat room.

Sure had fun last year, will try to go this year. May be able to go with same guy,

Quick memo to Joebagss99. I 'yak for togs in BB and would love to go out some time,
if you know somewhere near shore to try. May be down that way next weekend,
in fact. However, togfest usually goes out a distance into non-yakable areas;
should try to hitch a ride with someone.

Went looking down that way today,,, some cold this morn Brrrrr.
By the time I found them thick, got late and blew up... Strange wind today,, hoping Sunday works out

Kind of depressing getting to the boat to find ice on it already....but it doesn't take much to get your spirits back up.

Me and the old' man went feed some greenies to some blackies and were pleasantly rewarded.

There is still plenty of fishing to be had!!! Hoping the wind cooperates for Wednesday!!! :humpty:

Yes, Wednesday is looking stellar and so far Sunday's looking tough, Grrrr

Blackfish are in shallows right now and all we need is a jetty or shallow reef to catch. I'm game for Kayak or Boat where I can bring jigs.

Currently, the forecast is winds SW at 15 for Sunday. Hate to say it,
but that could mean pretty big waves at Fairhaven, probably at or too
large for 19-20 foot boats to go out. Need to check this carefully, maybe
slip it a week if it looks bad.

Memo to JoeBaggs: have a great near shore yakable spot, but can't do it
in a SW wind (on the north side of BB). Give me a PM if you are interested.

I was out in western LIS on saturday and the tog were spread out between 6-30 feet of water. We used green crabs for the first 6 hours then pulled out the stash of hermits. OMG they love those things. Everyone of them caught a fish. We got them free but they are worth their weight in gold.

sun looks crappy. we'll see how the forcast shakes out. prob w/doing it later is a lot of guys winterizing pretty soon. I may take the kids saturday
