I will keep mom in my prayers. Praying that she be cured of the dreaded illness
Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
My moms cancer has metastasized to her ribs and spine . Which happens to 40% of lung cancer patients . The damn disease has no cure and they are giving her radiation to ease the pain . I have an appointment with her Oncologist today with my brothers .
It came on fast and sudden . One day we were together most of the day and Mom was happy and full of energy . Then the very next night it reared its ugly head and by Monday 3/21 Mom was in the hospital . It took us all off guard. We gave this disease a damn good fight but are loosing the attle . Mom is such a strong woman . Please pray for her so as not to endure too much discomfort |
I am praying for you guys bud. Stay strong.

I know you are the kind of guy that is going to project that strength to your mom and rest of your family too. The power of faith can do amazing things. I am going to get your mom on the prayer line of the Sisters of St Joseph if that is OK. I just need her first name if that is ok.

Chris, thoughts for your Mom. My wife of 29-1/2 years lost her battle with cancer January 16 of this year and my Mom just entered hospice for her battle. It is a horrible thing to see someone go through. All you can do is live and appreciate each day..........

Chris I'm so sorry to hear of your pain...It sucks and there are no words that I can give for comfort.
If there is anything I can do for you plz drop me a line. Jeff I'm truly sorry for what you have been through this year. ... I'm sadend and I feel your loss and pain. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
If I have learned anything in this process is you need to LIVE life for whatever days you have. None of us know how long we have so live each day as if it was your last!
Losing my wife is the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life and the second most isn't even close. Sorry to highjack the thread. Chris what you will find is you have far more friends than you realized and far more people that care. Don't try to to deal with this on your own use the love that will come your way. |

I feel for you Jeff and ,I can't imagine losing my wife/partner in crime, but I too had a rough 2015. I buried 7 family members and put my pup's down the Monday before t day. Find it within and you will find your place. Bluecrab was a Huge part in helping me find my solitude. And I'm still here thanks to him. I wish you well buddy and stay strong. As always Chris, I hope you have closure with your mom God bless and God speed. 5/0 Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
5/0 thank you for your words and sorry for your loses and difficult 2015.
I see you are from Mansfield my wife was born and raised in Foxboro and was a die hard Pats fan. This November my sister in law managed through connections where she works get my wife a Tom Brady signed football with a personalized note from him on it. I can still see the smile and happy tears when she got it. She was only 53 years old and I miss her dearly. |
I am about to enter a sanctuary.
I will pray for you both. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Very sorry to hear, Jeff.
