Is it too early or bad karma to start a Bonito/ Albie thread? Every year I get more excited for their arrival, it's like a drug!

Nope, im geared up this year and start looking for every morning starting Monday

I am looking forward to their arrival Last year had all bones saw not 1 albie not from a lack of trying .. I give and take intel on theses speedster willingly... :cheers2:

This year trips with me I hope Wayne,,,, we'll mix in some tog....

When the bite would shut down for us, we threw the epoxy jigs and that seemed to do the trick when they wouldn't touch anything else

Same here , maid a recon south side this am,,,, there's bait, not a ton of it but it's there....
Can't eat, can't sleep, something is wrong with me LOL

I'm running way south in the morning. I'll file a report.

I'm predicting a similar run to last year, at least in Buzzards Bay. The amount of bait so far is right up there with last season. Mostly small silversides, but I saw peanuts for the first time last Thursday. Bones first, then albies to finish the season. Any time....

Was out today birds all over but they were on the crab hatch with a lot of small bait under them but that was it

I was out today too. Saw one pod at like 7 am....I was soooooo close to my first bone of the season from mainland, but alas it popped off after one long run.

once the tide slacked out I saw nothing and went home.

I will be out again friday, hopefully with a little more success. almost there!

Can't say for sure but coming around Monomy ,,, several tight 60 second blow ups all over the place, didn't look like Devils

looking good, and my Hogy's are due to be delivered any day now!

I was out this morning from 7 till 1130. No funny fish spotted, no funny fish hooked. had a couple little dink bass darting out of the rip to nail anything on top, that's about it.
