When you are a seasonal worker there are no sick days. I have specific jobs I do on Sunday morning.

Paul,
The FCC will survive without you on a Sunday if you happen to choose and bend a little bit from your usual schedule..... This is not a dress rehearsal...:whackin:

Paul, it’s a six pack, maybe Ricky’s “plus one “ will bail… right now full crew…

“Your mate works hard to ensure you & others have a memorable trip and it is customary guest tip him at least 20% the cost of the trip”
BRING CASH !

Bradley is a good young kid & works hard & long hrs during trips so you have a good time & catch plenty of fish.
Your tips are his pay so tip him well.

Also.
He needs $ for repairs to the boat when Mike lets him take it out and he hits things in the harbor :hihi:

Excellent reminder Ronnie. Some folks forget to budget this into their trip and some just plain don't know... Even boat owners...

beamie 03-27-2023 09:49 AM

Bring cash. This is very important for a mates tip

Charter companies that do let you pay via cc ahead of time….. if they leave the tip on the cc now you include to cc fee and then it’s on paper and then gone tax man takes his cut.

Same when you go out the eat. Tip in cash.

Yeah,
It's just me for the trip. I'll bring food for everybody.

I'll bring some fake beers, too.

Guppy 04-07-2023 05:12 AM

Ricky’s “ plus one “ bailed , we have an opening for one,,,,

Paul ( Piemma ) has first dibs….

See post #1 for crew list….

Stop wishin…..

piemma 04-07-2023 12:02 PM

I'm out due to not thinking I could go and making Mothers Day plans. Not going to temp fate and back upon those plans.

Pick your battles.

nightfighter 04-16-2023 09:47 AM

Just four weeks from now!
Paulie I hope you can find a way to make it! The OTW haddock episode was repeated this morning and got the juices going again!

JohnR 04-16-2023 02:30 PM

Liam and I may be out, that may be services for my mom.

I just sent something to Mikey to see if he wants to go.

My dad can't make it...cataract surgery.

I'll make free delicious sandwiches for everybody.

nightfighter 05-04-2023 11:50 AM

Hard to believe there are slots still open, even if it is on Mother's Day...

Guppy 05-04-2023 06:13 PM

UPDATE

Mike’s not sure if he can launch this weekend and will have to move the season launch to next weekend… which will pull the plug on this trip …… :-(

So stay tuned I guess….

and, Mike was nice enough to offer the Bucket for a trip and if we can’t make a full crew , I say can the trip all together….

chit happens,,, :smash:

nightfighter 05-04-2023 07:33 PM

I agree. Mike, hit me up when you are ready. Some things not worth rushing.
