Free Gas Norwood

Ernie Boch Jr is buying 7000 gallons of gas for anyone lucky enough to have heard about it and got in line. Good for him.

Raider Ronnie 04-01-2022 07:04 AM

Brilliant idea.
Norwood police shut down as soon as it started.
Cause a cruster#^&#^&#^&#^& @ rt 1 & University ave at morning rush hour.
There were a few accidents and our shop towed 2 cars.
Don’t think those 2 would have offset the free gas compared to our tow & storage bills :)
Ernie Jr should stick to hanging bare ass exchanging BJs in the hot tub with Steven Tyler.

I bet it was a mess, with all the publicity.... But Ronnie... do you come home to your wife every day with this same attitude about life? I mean, you are consistent, at least on here. Just wondering if you ever tone down and chill out in your own head, ever? Meant in a good way, not trying to be a #^&#^&#^&#^&. (I did laugh, though...)

Agree Ronnie is a Negative Nelly, hope he gets out on his boat soon.

Hey, for some guys, that's what makes them tick, gives them their jazz. I have worked around people like that. Just not who I want to spend eight hours or more a day with... It gets old with me. A LOT of business is conducted this very same way down in /around NYC. I am convinced this is why DjT thinks he is perfectly normal....

Been with my wife since 1988
Not 1 argument or disagreement ever.
Coming up on 30 years married, unlike the average marriage that ends in divorce in 8 years.
3 kids that have never been in trouble or needed to be Disciplined.

As far as Ernie
The guy is a POS and a friggin weirdo. The ultimate silver spoon kid & president of the golden sperm club.
His father was even more of a scum bag.

Oh by the way
The part about Ernie & Steve Tyler in the hot tub is absolutely true.
His wife was away on the island with the kids but she came home when he didn’t expect it.
Steve bought her a big 3 million $ house in Walpole where she now lives.
I’ve got a bunch of friends that work at the dealerships and for Subaru of NE that confirmed the story.

My boat isn’t going to see the water this year.
Sitting the year out.
@ $6 a gallon of diesel, cost of slip up, cost of haul up, cost of everything up……. I’m taking the year off and see what happens after the mid-terms.

Maybe a good thing for me......boat ramp can be an F'n Zoo most weekends.

Ronnie your welcome to jump on board with me....inshore or nearshore........60 HP outboard sips gas....no need to kick in any gas money.... the cost for me is negligible.

Are you serious Ronnie or is the an April Fools joke?

I don't know. Yeah it sucks that everything is up and the cost of fun is gonna cost an extra 25-30%

But, life is short. You know what they say....yolo. With my job I have not had a full fishing season in the last 32 years. That kills me and I wonder if it was really worth missing all the years or raising my kids and my main hobby of boating fishing.

This year I was not going to put the boat in until late August when I get back. But......my schedule just changed unfortunately with some eye surgery and will be outta work for 3 more months recovering, now I figure I should put the boat in until I can go back to work to have some enjoyment.

I’m serious.
I’ll probably mate or run someone’s boat but my boat is staying in the shelter.
Fed up with a bunch of things, mostly this current administration that wants to eliminate the middle class & make everyone poor, accept themselves of course.

John
By the way
My son Leo got off the ship a few weeks ago, did 100 days.
Dropped him off at Logan Saturday.
Quick turnaround.
Doing his 1st trip as 2nd engineer, they left Philadelphia this morning, headed to southern texas.
He turned 24 late December.
How old when you made chief ?

Ronnie

That is great for Leo. Happy for him.

Was 29 when I got my license and 35 when I got a chiefs job. sailed 8 years as 1st before stepping up.
I always upgraded the license as soon as I could. Leo is probably the same way. And when you are young and the opportunity is there you need to take that next job on a quick turnaround. Cause you don’t know when that may be available again. I had a third engineer who I think was Leo’s roommate for a bit leave my ship and go to a tanker like Leo’s because my ships contract is up in the air. Probably a smart move.
I’m just very bitter with the union and how things are goin. But that’s a 3 beer story.
