Throwing flies

Anyone tossing flies for stripers lately? Been having a lot fun messing with schoolies but looking for strategies to target bigger fish.

Match the bait and get below the little guys.

Head to the Canal madhouse! toss a herring/mackeral pattern and hold on!!!!! odds ain't in your favor to land one but that's the place.

You are right about the odds for landing one on a fly. A couple weeks ago I had fish in front of my on plugs so I tried out my fly rod and had a hookup , fought it and lost in front of me. At least I hooked one. I have not done that in 14 years
