least favorite song of all time
 

Inspired by my derailing of the Ugly Rock stars thread, I was thinking about all the awful songs I've heard over my lifetime. Everybody must have one song, more than others, they CANT Stand. One that makes you want to puke when you hear it. So, what is it? Lets hear em - just one song

Just watching this I want to kick that Richard Simmons look alikes a$$. How can any human being listen to that? How did it ever get on the radio?

This is a tough one because there are so many bad songs out there. I have a tough time picking just one song from this crappy band. I would rather listen to my wife nag me than to have this song on the radio.

I hear that all the time. Maybe I'm the only one who just doesn't get them.

I thought Anthony Keidis was good in Point Break, though. He's a better actor than singer.

I agree, the guy can't sing! however, he has obviously proven that doesn't matter! Flea is the real musician in the operation and he kicks ass.

Anything by Boston, with Journey a very close second (they just make me cringe). Single song, Night Moves :yak5: by Bob Seger is probably the one.

anyway my least favorite is Loveshack, anything from meatloaf or Taylor swift......

Considering you nominated one of their best songs on their breakthrough album...this might just be the case.

Given some time and space I have actually come to listen to Meatloaf. Maybe because of his roll as Eddy in Rocky Horror. Before he would have been on the list though. Funny, some will never be off the list.

Don Maclean's American Pie was playing simultaneously on two radio stations on my way home from work one day. I signed up for XM the next day.

That new-ish song by Train "hey Soul sister" is rapidly approaching my puke list.

I got two teenage daughters at home that listen to Kiss 108 all day. There's a whole bunch of new songs I hate, I just don't know the name of them.

I'm not surprised you'd like one of the least musically expressive and most mainstream songs in their catalog.
I can picture you in your car thinking you're the cool guy bopping your head up and down and then realizing that the 40 something mom in the minivan next to you is listening to the same song.:rotf2:

It wasn't a mainstream song when they wrote it. I wonder how it became so "mainstream"?

As for not being musically expressive, I'm not sure how to read this. Either you're joking, or you don't know what the phrase means.
