. . . and the memories live on!

Miss him so much - his music will live on forever :). A true American troubadour. Time for a chinacat/I know you rider.

The dead was the first concert I ever went to. Foxborough 1991. Loved it and it made me love the dead for life

If you guys have spotify, check out the release of the 5/8/77 Cornell show. Its one of the best recordings I've ever heard and Jerry was absolutely feeling it that night. The crescendo at the end of Morning Dew is stunning.
The amazon documentary is worth a watch too. Really enjoyed the roadie stories. |
Even though I had the Cornell show on CD, I pre-ordered that set of 4 concerts and when I got it I put it all on itunes and have been enjoying it. They are all incredible. Not flawless but as you said they were "on".
It was an expensive set but once in a while you have to buy yourself something. RIP Jerry in honor of Jerry on the anniversary of his death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwj_nf-E8-M music is good for your soul |
