I don't own one (I have an Ion and 3 gas augers) but know many that do and they are loyal..and from what I've seen they are fast..good luck lighting the load..each time I do that I add something else I've been trying to do that for the last 20 years. ..to no avail ..

That’s to funny I always bring more stuff collectively than the two other guys I normally fish with.

The only way I’ve been able to lighten the load is to bring another person to help lug it

You haven't seen over kill until you fish with me...I've been told I need help. ...and not the physical kind.

I did however lighten the load btu 1 J17 lm spark plug...a gapping tool and a spark plug wrench...I then added a 12A/ battery to my fish finder/gps..so I'm back in the negative.

Doing well. I have the gear ready and am itching to get out. finally got a truck this summer so now I can get to some farther away destinations :hee:

lugging the gear with a Mazda 3 was getting ugly. :hihi:

My buddy bought one last year (K-drill).....the thing is the balls. When my Strike Master dies, I will definitely by buying one. Very lightweight and cuts like butter. Glad I got to see it and try it firsthand....I too had my doubts, but I was sold immediately.

If anyone is still on the fence about the K-Drill.....I used this auger again this past weekend. WOW...is all I can say. Drilled more than 50 holes and he said he still had plenty of battery life. It is lightweight to carry around and cuts like butter. It is easier to justify as well because you can use the drill all year round. They do recommend a Milliwaukee brand Drill (not sure of the model) to be used with it. No more gas power for me...
