Knots

I'm putting braid on and I heard that you should put mono backing on first and tie the mono to braid. I tried tying the mono to braid using the uni-knot doubling over each line but it doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions on other knots I could use??

remember when you do the uni to uni you don't have the line up again the other line, BUT the line lays on TOP of the other line.

do a web search for fishing knots and you will see what I mean.

wet the line w/ some spit before you pull it taught. USE a dowel on the braid/superline or it will slice ya finger open!
