Wordens Pond

Anybody ever yakked Wordens Pond in the early spring for pike and LMB? Is it too shallow for a Mirage Drive?

Sounds like you just found your first trip of the year??

That's right! Gonna get the yak out of the shed this weekend and hopefully get out on Sunday. Ive gotta do some searching for my LMB gear but it'll be worth it

It's big and the water can get sloppy with high winds. Pick the right day. Try drifting: Bring two rods - hang a live shiner off a float in a rod holder. Then cast the other, big spoons, Johnson's Silver Minnow, big spinner baits.
