Andy Lemar

Hi Everyone,
Been a while since I posted here. Anyway I'm looking to see if anyone here has photos of the late Andy Lemar? Reason I'm looking is that I'm working on a new book project that is a follow up/sequel to my last book. In the new project I've sought story contributions from some of my friends, one of which is Steve McKenna who wrote a great story for me about a special night of casting on Block Island that he shared with Andy Lemar. I'd like to include a good photo of Andy. I can only find one photo online (posted here) but not sure who took it and don't want to run afoul of any copyright. Feel free to contact me if you can help. Thanks in advance.

If I am not mistaken, Joe Lyons did an interview with Andy back when he had the online store. There were some images of Andy included, he may be able to assist.

Yes, Toby is correct. Joe did a profile on Andy Lemar which mostly detailed his fishing experiences around Narragansett, particularly PJL. (I love how he used to stick monsters in just hip boots).

I don’t have Joe’s contact info anymore, but someone in Toby’s club might have his email from the fundraiser?

Thanks guys. Joe L is hard to find right now. Hope he's OK.
I have another lead with a one of Andy's fellow club members who might have some images.

I will need to dig into some old hard drives but I may have a few from the Narraganset Surfcasters and Narraganset Pier clubs.

Andy was a true gentleman. Great guy.

Nelson Valles, an old-timer and founder of the Narragansett Surfcasters, is an avid photographer, who has material on Andy.

I didn’t see Nelson once last fall. Was getting worried. Nellie’s an institution

You can’t contact him through the Narragansett surfcaster’s club Website or Cliff can put you in touch with him, if not #^&#^&#^&#^&.
