Coolness for Gearheads in 10 minutes

The world's tiniest V12 engine. [VIDEO]

That was pretty cool.

Raider Ronnie 06-12-2012 04:54 PM

Thats some talent there.
Def a bit smaller than a Packard V12

striperman36 06-12-2012 05:10 PM

No CNC, and it's a diesel!

Quite the accomplishment. Kudos to him.

It would be cool to build a PT Boat to scale and put 3 of those
engines in as their power. I believe the WW 2 boats were powered
by 3 V12 Packard engines.

Too Cool!

Am I wrong or does the whole thing rely on the grease. I didn't notice (may have missed it ) any oil pump/circulation?

man I wish i could make something like that in my cellar! :)

Don't know the video doesn't have anything attached

thefishingfreak 06-13-2012 05:19 PM

Meaning its not actually "running", it's reacting to the air bring pushed thru it. Like blowing on a pinwheel
