Brown shark tackle.

What kind of rigs do you guys use when brown shark fishin? I went out last night and had a great hit and run after about 20 minutes on the beach and it ended in failure very quickly. Not being too serious about it i just grabbed a pack of 24" 35 lb steel leaders with a snap on the end. I proceeded to reel in part of the snap with the hook still hanging by a thread. The eel was chopped up about 8" from the hook so i assume the mouth was about 8" wide to crush the snap. Fun fight, the whole 15 seconds or so of it. Then it was 4' dogfish for the rest of the night.

my beach sharking rig:

3-ft of 100lb titanium wire crimped on one end to a 9-0 gami circle hook (forget the model) and on the other end to a 150lb swivel with duolock snap (the snap is for the sinker, I don't use a fish finder)
from the swivel i run 10-ft of 80 lb mono for a shock leader (to protect when rubbing against the sharks tail), connect that to 65 lb braid with an albright knot...
