I went and saw them 3-4 years ago.....amazing show.

The 1st 1/2 of the show had a guy, with a Big Booming voice (ala James Earl Jones) that read from a book of xmas poetry and after every passage they would play a song that went with the passage....just awesome

2nd 1/2 they did more of a traditional concert. with music from other non-xmas albums as well as other x-mas music.

if you've never seen them.......you should

What these guys are is a side project formed out the band,Savatage.A rock opera style group influenced by ELP,Iron Maiden and Queensryche. It shows.
I stated in an earlier thread that this is our first year in 4 that we have not seen them.We were getting tired of the same show, now we wish we had gone to see them.I guess its the holiday tradition thing.Anyway, great light show, great looking female vocalists who do much crowd [male] interaction, great musicians, a great narrator,a very polished act from top to bottom.Next year check them out.
