who built this plug. I was told a guy named MIKE an his son built it some years back , BUT which MIKE ? it's a sweet looking plug with all the gold flake on it just looking to put a builder with it. thank you

Judging by overall shape and proportions, it looks a heck of a lot like the Sea Special that used to be made by Al Gag (now made by me under 247 Lures). I know they used to sell kits to paint and build lures at home. But even the paint job isn't too far off from some of the old AlGag stuff I've seen.

That said, it's a fairly common shape/style so I'm not willing to bet any money. Just offering an avenue worth checking

I have made some like that but not sure it is one I made long ago, I would need to see the tail wrap better to be sure. Mike’s Custom plugs maybe, I don’t know
