Welcome to Venezuela

Looks like the Trump Team is trying to do a little regime change in Central America.
Aligned against us are our great allies, China, Russia and Turkey.
We now have two presidents in Venezuela dueling for control, but apparently Trump and his two foreign policy cohorts Bolton and Pompeo missed Coup planning 101, make sure the guys you are backing have the guns.
Given the current administrations obvious distaste for Central Americans, do you think they are looking for more political refugees?
If and when they arrest the diplomats that were given 72 hours to leave after Trump chose to recognize the other president what will happen?

Y'all do know that the Central and South American countries hate when we interfere, right? That maybe the best bet here is to support them non-militarily? Get Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and all the other little countries to help them out?

would be a great idea but most of those countries have their own issues

I would hope trump would not intervene Militarily But when

US President Donald Trump officially recognised Juan Guaidó as the legitimate president of Venezuela just minutes after the latter had said he would take over the executive powers.

this backs the US in a corner ...

That's the thing. The TDS is making people freak out and turning them into middle school opposite day or wear-your-underware-on-your-heads-in-protest day. The ability to make decisions on common sense does not happen unless it aligns with resistance.

Somebody wearing a MAGA hat could invent a Household Cold Fusion reactor that costs $20 /year, completely safe, and runs on a bag of Funions a month and Resistors would be digging coal mines in every Audubon Society property in the US to resist.

I guess everything Trump does is ok
Bolton calls Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba the Troika of Tyranny and seeks to oppose them with the US, Colombia and Brazil, the Oligarchs of Overthrow, of whom the rest of the world has serious doubts about their authoritarian leanings.
We have been screwing around with them for a long time and you couldn't train a dog with our foreign policy in Central America, all they would do is want to bite you.
Along with the 1.6 million armed and trained people, on Venezuela's side you have Russia, China and Cuba. Mexico has also said they will not help destabilize Venezuela.
You will likely reincarnate FARC in Columbia with armed intervention also and end up with further instability in the region.

Just what election did Guaido win?
What would you say if some other country(s) decided that Bernie should be President and called for the ouster of Trump?

Trumps foreign policy advisers are where, the really smart one (s) have already exited via the revolving door and I'm not even sure Trump knows where Venezuela is on a map.

Trump can barely keep promises to our current allies

How's he going to help this guy Juan Guaidó send him an autographed copy of the art of the deal?
