Cowards

Andy, I hope they are alright , maybe just got routed someplace else hopefully.
I heard this on the radio on my way home the whole drive back from Weston, on rt 24 while I was headed south, about 7-8 cruisers were speeding towards Boston on the northbound side. Unbelievable what kind of sick people would do these kinds of things:smash: just awful. Thoughts and prayers for those injured or killed I just heard another event happened at the JFK library |
Commish is saying that there was a third explosion @ JFK library... previously reported as an unrelated electrical fire
|
the "T" word has not been used in any news briefs
|
They just said Cell phone service has been shut down in Boston due to fear of further devices that could be set off with a cell phone.
that will make finding people even harder obviously definitely terrorists if you ask me, what the hell else would it be |

Cowards indeed!
I was working on a rooftop all day in Somerville and Didn't hear or see anything. On the way off the roof my phone was ringing off the hook,my boss,my wife and parents.... The second explosion location is a building I do a lot of work at. Driving South bound on the X Way traffic was very thin on the North bound(heading into Boston) Stateies, ambulance's under covers were on the double. Who ever is responsible for this cowardly act should be fillet. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Terrible tragedy...many survivors with missing limbs.
I always thought it would happen at a football game where many congragate. When this calms down who will be blamed for sleeping on the job...where were the bomb sniffing dogs before and during the Marathon? |
The act is nothing but pure terrorism.
Those who carried it out are what will have to be determined. Remember that the Oklahome City bombing was by a homegrown terrorist faction. Things that make me wonder are that it was Marathon Monday, it is April 15th (tax day) and I believe today is Patriots Day. Unfortunately sickos will attach themselves to whatever day/event will give them the most coverage. Whoever/whomever is responsible, their lives aren't worth spit WHEN they are caught! My prayers go out to all the INNOCENT victims that were affected by this act of cowardice. |
Horrific end to a usually awesome day. I live on the route 4 miles from the start, and its hard to comprehend that one of these happy faces I saw run by, may have lost a loved one today. T&P's to all those families.

Too many people complain they want their privacy. We are living in a world where we need to let our govt do what they need to do to protect our lives and have our privacy be 2nd in line. I'd rather be alive and spied on than dead and private. Not saying it would have helped any here by any means. This whole thing is a horrible chit show

I work in Cambridge and take the train out of North Station - decided to walk to North Station rather than the subway ... in part because the Green Line was shut down in sections and it's only a 20-minute walk ... but on that walk there was a lot of confusion, police cars racing from other towns to the scene, other police cars racing in opposite directions, when I got near North Station, cars were undergoing searches at the Garden ... crazy stuff.
But I must say, that the police and fire department did not hesitate to get to the scene to help the injured and ensure people were protected ... despite the criticisms above about no-bomb sniffing dogs being used, I am grateful for our police and fire departments coming to help ... every day these people put themselves in harms way to help protect us ... can't say thank you enough to them. IMHO - We should be thanking them, not criticizing them. |
I haven't seen anyone criticizing them?

I don't think anyone was "sleeping on the job". Someone probably strolled in with a couple of bags, dumped them in trashcans, then flipped a switch. Quick. How does one defend against that?
The entire area was searched by dogs before the race, anyway. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

I'm pissed off, Gup |
A holes from all over the world and internally are now using random mass violence to push agendas or simply get famous and you want to take away the guns we might need to defend ourselves? Man , sometimes I think I woke up on a different planet.
