swim test

So I was thinking about how to go about doing swim tests for my lures this winter, as I'm not a huge fan of the cold(understatement of the century). Does anyone swim test in their tub, kiddie pool, bucket, gutter?...etc. Was trying to come up with the best option without leaving my basement. I even have the small ugly stick ice fishing rod so I can "cast and retrieve" lol. Thoughts?!

Put on layers and go to a pier or dock. It's not like you are going to be out there for hours. Pick your days. Or enroll your kids in swim lessons and cut a deal with the pool director.....

hahaha, I like the pool idea!

tough to dup saltwater buoyancy in a pool. bundle up. my official winter test zones are behind m&d's, ccc, and barrington beach...

Ditto bundle up.....its easier than #^&#^&#^&#^&ing around with a pool and only takes a few minutes....pick a decent day, good excuse for a ride to the ocean.....bring coffee and enjoy! :)

Go to the beach - a plug swims different from a pier. Nahant has some good spots too.
