Shower Mold?
Got a little mold on some of the adhesive that holds our shower glass in place. Any remedies on how to safely remove/clean this without damaging the tile/marble?? Diluted bleach?? Any cleaners out there that might be good??

chlorine used for pools cleans grout and caulk very well.

Bleech or X 14 etc. then scrub to whiten.
It will come back unless you use Concrobium which covers and crushes any mold spores left. Good ventilation is the best cure, problem is when ya have kids taking showers 2-3x a day the walls never dry off. |
What ever you use, spray it on and let it sit for a while before you scrub.

Bleach based cleaner. Old toothbrush for affected areas and especially grout lines. Mr Clean Magic Eraser is good for tile. Reseal grout. Buy a squeegee and use on tile and glass after every shower.... This is the best preventative against soap scum and body oil build up in the shower.

Concrobium looks like some cool stuff Dave ...that being it's non toxic :uhuh:
looks like it'll cost 9.99 from manufacturer where as the zep formula was only 3 bucks household bleach is only 5% strength where as swimming pool chlorine is like 99% strength and is some real nasty strong stuff burning holes in clothes quite easily... i got some splashed in my eyes once :hs: i've never run faster in my life to a sink |
