Wall paper glue

So I have completed removing 2200 sq ft of wall paper. Now I need to get the walls ready for paint. Will dif remove the glue. I am considering filling the walls then going over them with a 220 random orbit sander. The plaster job is outstanding. Just want to make sure paint sticks. Any one have experience with this type of thing

best wallpaper is vinyl but looks like Paper!
and it is pre glued
and then you still use glue for no bubbles
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
you'll have to scrub it hard with that wall cleaner that's strong,
real strong... called TSP but word of warning it can burn your skin so use as directed
then use some dura-bond 90 for quicker drying mud
it sets up in 90 minutes just like wood so you can scrape it
just before (say @ 55 minutes)
it drys to get within a 16th or 32nd of flat then use regular
joint compound that's much creamier after spraying it with a mist
sprayer on your hawk :point: to finish off any low spots...

then prime , then paint
.... or buy the expensive paint that has primer built into it

TSP will work at the recomended ratio mixed with water....you have to let it sit for a few minutes before cleaning. Once the gritty glue is removed, you should then wash the walls with warm water. We applied the TSP solution with a spray attachment to an old electrolux vacuum and that workrd well.

Walls are plastered nice skim coat shouldn't need to do the second skim out once glue is gone. I am going to try the glue break down then rinse wash if it is still gummy I will then hit it with a TSP wash down and rinse fill sand. These are blue board with plaster skim as opposed to a plaster lath job fortunately

Wash the walls with fabric softener , it removes wallpaper, and should remove the glue.

dif works well. use a pump sprayer to apply. when you think your done do it again. when you are done dry the room well before you move on, a dehumidifier will help

Run a paper tiger over the wall paper before spraying the Diff....it helps the Diff get into the paper better!

Paper is all gone borrowed two steamers from the Worcester Teacher mafia. Had the paper off last Monday two rooms left I am hitting with the Piranha stuff from lowes. Works great. Tommorow filling and then sanding next week and filling etc.

I have used diff Piranha vinegar the Pirahna is by far the best so far
