Buddy Rich--great talent but an absolutely horrid human being, and the biggest prick in the business to work for.
Ed Shaugnessey from the original Tonight Show band was a very good, and vastly underrated, drummer |
1. Billy Cobham w/ Mahavishnu Orchestra (The Music Inn - Lenox, MA)
2. Clive Bunker w/ Jethro Tull (Hampton Beach Casino) 3. Bill Bruford w/ Yes (Hampton Beach Casino) 4. Corky Laing w/ Mountain (Curry Hicks Cage - UMass) . Bernzy |
Neil Peart - the master
Bun E. Carlos -simple drum kit but a major sound |
K. Palmer is fantastic too. T. Bozzio wife was the scantley clad singer I think. Nobody walks in LA.

Another Tool fan. Only saw them twice. Twisted and strange but two of the absolute best live shows I have ever seen. Even saw Perfect Circle at UNH........... Not even close. |
