MA sales tax
 

Im a dummy. I thought there was a vote recently to raise the sales tax from 5% to 5.5%. I know I had heard or read about that.
Now with all the press on the measure to reduce to 3%, I heard its really 6.25% !
How did that happen?

I had no clue it went up that much! :smash::smash::smash:

25% increase....why so they can build horse bridges for 4.6 million. This system sucks and needs a complete overhaul.

Because we live in Ma. where the politicians don't give a damn what you want.

I heard they were looking into a feasability study about putting handsinks outside all the restrooms at the statehouse. Those studies aren't cheap.

If we vote to reduce the sales tax to 3% the current admistration will not sign off on it anyways. He has said so. Unbelievable, at least he got a new cadillac and some really expensive drapes on our dime. While I believe all politicians are lying cheating thieves, there are ways to at least make us believe they do work for us. The common courtesy of a reach around has been removed, just a straight old f#^*!ng!

Don't forget the cameras too....they cost a pretty penny

Ballot measures in MA are a joke. They have no teeth to them and the boobs up on Beacon Hill can just ignore them. Then, the people aren't smart enough when the next election comes around to vote them out. So much for the democratic process.

isnt it funny "boobs" is a negative term while in fact, boobs are one of the best things in life?

Although I hold them in very high regard, I can think of 3 things right away that are better than boobs. :devil2:
