Newbie to the forum and the game
 

Hey guys,
I've fished as a hobby growing up, but never anything too serious. Well, today was my first time fishing for striper. Not much action, but I got one at 8 lbs. I really enjoyed it and I'm hooked (no pun intended). The problem is I live in central Va and as far as I know I'm limited on where I can fish for striper. I'm also ignorant on how to fish for them. Any advice or locations in the Va area would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

your off to a good start,,, try the local tackle shops,,, you will have to spend some $ at the shop to break the ice,,, then start asking questions
