Shimano Talica 16 II reels (drag question)
 

I was just rerigging fresh leaders, little cleaning and such (it's not too early is it, getting the itch)

Anyway, was wondering if I should (should have) backed off the lever drag adjustment on the two Talica 16 II trolling reels ???

and I guess for all the other reels as well...

Shimano Saragosa 6000
Penn Spinfisher 4500

I'm going to guess yes but thought I'd canvas the pro's....

I'm no pro but but I would suggest back off all and any drags when not in use. Every trip they get a fresh water blast and loosen the drags....
I break down a dozen and a half reels each off season and either clean or replace the drags in each.... Oh' did I mention I'm ready to rumble :-), bring it on
