Belly Weights

I've got a couple of very old custom molds for pouring belly weights that are specifically designed to fit the shape and correct size for the needlefish lures I make. I'm currently in the process of having these molds replicated because I'm one of those guys that always likes to have a backup of my important tools.

Anyway, this got me thinking about having a mold made for some other sizes of belly weights. More generic pancake shapes that would be more useful not only as I make other lure designs, but also for other lure builders.

So, if you're willing to share (message me privately if you want to) what size belly weights are you builders looking for? Is it more about final weight, or more about size/dimensions? I'm not going to promise that I'll have a mold made specific to each individual builder preference, but the molds/slugs I currently use are kindof a balance between size and weight priority.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Eli most of the weights I use <7gr is 3/8" dia. Issues with long length is interference on thin body lures with thru wire hole. A thin 1/2" weight solves that for the most.
>7gr 1/2" dia works. 1/2×1/2 is approz 14gr +/-.
Specialty weights 3/4×3/8& 7/8×3/8 get drilled for wire.

What Billy said ^^
I also like a 15/32 dia. Weight for a half inch hole.
