Promo video
My brother is a commercial photographer and I had the chance to have him produce a promo video to put on my website. I have a few small changes for him to make but I was wondering if any of you can give me some honest feedback of what you think about it.
thanks https://vimeo.com/123315961 |
Nice Bruce. Without making it stand out: before you buy from a standard kitchen shop, check out what you can get custom designed, the quality, the perfect fit! You would be surprised and sure you would enjoy custom.

I found the music to be to loud for you voice when i was listening, it was hard for me to understand what you were saying. Other than that i think the context was good and the finish product shots are nice but i like before and after shots.

Yes the sound and I'd like to see it sLow down a little at 1:21,,,
That's one classy promo, luv it, best luck Bruce |
Bruce, the end of the video has BW Woodworking shouldn't it be BM ?

I agree with the music level And spell check.... Beautiful work Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
wow, really nice stuff, nice job. Agree on music, honestly you might not even need it.
|
Thanks
Yes I know about spelling thanks B&M Woodworking and the town names will be different yep I mentioned to him about the volume , I agree I tried to find a more acoustic guitar background but could not , maybe some talented musician could record something for me :D I am not a good public speaker I need to speak clearer not like monotone Bill Belichick ;) All this was off the cuff If I had more preparation I think it could be a better message Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Bruce, the speaking part is good, you don't come off as salesy, which is key. And it shows you care about your work. Too polished and it might take away from the feel of it. Really nice stuff by a guy who cares about the work, not all about how much he can charge.

What I like about it is, someone meeting you for the first time after watching the video isn't going to say "you're nothing like the guy in the video". That's definitely you!!!
I agree with Skippy, lower the background music should be lowered and slow down the credits at the end. As my mother would say, "would it kill you to tuck in your shirt" JK |
thanks guys
James, that is correct and how I wanted it and who I am |
ok, to be Honest
ditto on the music volume| your speaking part excellent
now ...being an art enthusiast .... i think the picture of the bright green room should be CUT out of the video completely because it's a distraction making you "not" focus on your Cabinet work instead your saying to yourself as you look around (who in their right mind would paint a living room that color) this is what it shoulda/coulda looked like (quicky example ok) http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...lipknotpic.png with the normal wall color you focus on the carpentry MORE |
ps if you'll notice in that picture
the walls and ceiling are reflecting green shadows onto the white cabinet color making them look not as beautiful as they actually are where as a light blue would compliment the white finish |
Nice work!
PS Love the green |
Nice work!
PS Love the greenpaint |
The walls are not as vivid as it shows in a picture, kind of like when you take a picture of the sunrise, in real life it is not as vivid or red as it shows up on the photo. If you saw the room in person you would agree the color looks great in this home.
Others have said something about it being a distraction but honestly, the shot is not there that long of a time period. |
Very Nice!
