snorkling or diving

anyone dive around cape ann? I was thinking of doing some snorkling this weekend hoping to find some cool spots. Any help would be appreciated.

I dive cape ann. Are you in a boat or shore? There are a few decent shore spots but many more via boat. What are you looking for/to do? You'll need a wetsuit if you going to stay in the water for long. Last weekend it was around 55 degrees.....

I'll be using my little boat. Hoping to see some cool spots, starfish, anenomes, some fish etc.... I was thinking of going just north of the Rockport harbor or over towards Thatcher's Island, there's a cool little cove there in about 10' of water. Any other suggestions would be cool.

Not sure how big your boat is but you could go out to the salvages which is very nice...
Which is outside of the breakwater.

Also right around Old Garden beach pretty cool. If you can get to the bottom and snag some lobsters you may find a striper in the area that will gladley take it off your hands...
