Sat. Hunting for tuna

I'm heading out for the first time this sat. with a buddy of mine and we are alittle wet behind the hears. We'll be heading out of plymouth around 5am. I'm not looking for your sweet spot just some info on the area. should we spend time in the bay or head out to the SWC. We have trolling gear and spinning gear. 9inch slugos in different colors, poppers, one squid bar..Harpon, gaff. Should we get a X rap? What colors if we do. If we're missing anything please let me know. And we have a permit, I can't wait! I would really just be happy if I see one, landing one would be AWESOME.
:thanks:

You sound like you have it covered. Look for pushing fish later in the day anywhere from plymouth to the SWC and into the bay. Good luck
