Found out the computor problem
 

John I had Verizon replaced the drop from the pole to my house. Wires were thirty years old and cracked, stretched and whatever else goes along with age. Page loading is back to where it should be and I don't have to keep logging on. The hint that something was wrong was when I realize the scratchy reception I had on the house phone went from bad to worse about the same time the computor performance went south. The phone lines were so scratchy the answering machine, when it came on, it kept going to start message and wouldn't let anyone leave a message.
