It's been NUTSO this week. Shipped 133 orders in the last 7 days. At this point it's almost a given that if you are looking for BANANA it's on backorder.
J&B is getting lures this week, Blackbeards got 2 orders last week and another this week. #^^^^&'s on the Vineyard got lures, as did Cross Rip on Nantucket. First Light in Rowley, the list goes on. Saltwater Edge will have a order on Tuesday as will Natick Outdoor Store. September marks our 5th year anniversary. Thanks to all for fishing our stuff...notice I said OUR...my wife Denise deserves alot of credit for stuff she's picked up on this year giving me time to heal and move on to other stuff. :kewl: Need a few more of THESE :hee: http://reel-time.com/forum/attachmen...2&d=1184461270 |

that dood with the tuna looks like he's had more than enuff of fishin' for the day!!
them salty's needles sure did catch a buncha bluefins this year!!!!!!!! |
Bobber I counted ONE person just yesterday has landed 15 tuna on needles since July 1, all between 55 and 85 lbs :kewl:
|
I had an 80 pound Yellowfin on a Fathead popper at the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico in June but no pictures before it was released :whackin:
|
nice! Was that a 3oz or a 1.5?
|
Scott, I've just started fishing your eel skin black danny plug this year and love how it swims and catches. It was one of my top producing plugs in June, landing 2 fish over 40". The finish is holding up well too. Thanks and keep up the good work. Question for you. On those tuna being caught on your needles, what are these guys using for hooks? I can't imagine a 4X VMC cutting it on a 65lb. tuna.
|
Guessing... but doubt they are using trebles on Scotts' plugs at all (6x VMC's if so)...
More likely they are going with only a rear single (super- strong) hook for the big tunoids! After all, I'm sure they're retrieving the Needles quickly & erratically anyway... :humpty: |
STOCK hooks. There is absolutely no reason to change out the VMC hooks. The 4/0 VMC on the stubbies are even fine, we've had fish to 120 lbs on them in the last two years and I do not know of anyone complaining anywhere that they needed to change the hooks ever.
Titan glad you like them. :kewl: |
Congrats on 5 years salty- your product has come a long way from the plugs i bought a few years ago.. you done good.
|
Thanks Nebe.
|
Congrats on 5 years, long hard road getting a business going
