Happy get back some of what they stole from you Weekend Plans

Yes, that's me, I have blown off doing my taxes until this weekend. Surely going to owe, hope it's not enough to get further penalized.

So what's up for the weekend?

nightfighter 04-12-2024 07:09 AM

Writing checks for what I owe and mailing today....

rphud 04-12-2024 07:26 AM

same here, just got my "reminder" from CT DRS that the time has come

Knee replacement in 3 hours. Weekend is shot

Got Stripers 04-12-2024 07:51 AM

Saturday I have a spot at the Tried & True Fishing Expo at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Wareham, runs 9-4pm. I have a six Planno 3700 boxes full of freshwater plastic and plugs, which I hope to sell by the box (very reasonably priced) and my usual six totes of my Ledge Runner Bait plastic and some misc. boat gear I don't need any longer.

Sunday I'm golfing and then sitting down to watch the end of the Masters tournament.

Going to meet with tax guy and leave with a lightened checkbook. Then work on prepping boat. Gotta find a good place for Sea Bass this spring.

fishgolf 04-12-2024 11:58 AM

oof, thanks for the tax reminder... Just completed. Sigh...

Whoa... Didn't know that was a scheduled event, Spud. Check in with me when you are up to it.

For Sea Bass, upper Buzzards Bay around Cleveland Ledge is the
area most folks are going to these days around Memorial Day.

Thanks guys. Everything went well. Sore and irritated for now but all in all I think I'm good. This career is tough on the body for sure. I thought becoming a firefighter, I would slow down the with the home building. It just changed my focus to finish. That just hurts a different set of limbs.LOL

Ooooff. Well hope the recovery is good and the knee heals up well. That will be more than one weekend though.

piemma 04-13-2024 10:01 AM

Good luck and feel better Spud.

JohnR 04-16-2024 04:31 PM

Well, that hurt a lot more than I thought it was going to. Not as much hurting as Spud is doing.

Thanks John...actually not doing as bad as I thought it would be. Still pretty swollen and can't really put weight on it yet. All in all its not too bad. Hoping to be up and around to get some fishing in soon.

Absolutely hope that turns around for you soon. I'm hearing they're getting better and better at this but it is still a slog.

Ice ice baby..... And get a PT script written for aqua therapy, in the pool. By far the best therapy I experienced as far as results.

Hookedagain 04-17-2024 11:04 AM

I am waiting for approval from the City for the therapy to start. Because I am a workers comp claim everything needs approval. It goes through but sometimes takes a few days. My Dr. put in for aqua.
