He shoots he scores, Trillium that is
two growlers Congress Street, two growlers Galaxy Fort Point, two bottles Sinister Kid, and yes, two bottles Artaic.
Sunny and 60 degrees in November in line on Congress Street. Not too shabby. |
Nice!

Canton will open soon!

Anybody heard what will happen with Congress Street once they open in Canton? I hope they keep it open. Might be nice if they can make it into tasting room again or a tap room with Growler fills and bottle sales.
|
I heard they will not leave congress st. Canton will be used mostly to increase distribution of their flagships like congress st and fort point, though still only in ma. Congress st location really won't change.

Good to know, but a great spot for a tasting tap room. My guess is that the "neighbors" would be put out though. Thanks for the update Josh.

Do they (Trillium) can or bottle?
|
Hey Dennis, 750ml bottles only.
|
yeah apparently they got into some kind of trouble with the city when they were doing tastings on congress st. so it's really just a retail operation and will remain so, someone asked this same question when I was in line there a while back and they just announced the canton location.
Oh and this reminds me I have to stock up for Thanksgiving! |
Speaking of filled growlers - if not opened how long does the beer remain viable in them? I got one filled Saturday and want to keep it for Thanksgiving?

Got scaled and launch, the first beers done in canton, yesterday. Launch is bit of a departure for trillium - bright, clear, light and crisp. Scaled for the game tonight.

Launch and scaled are both great beers. If they were $10 a six pack I'd be all over them. Not quite worth trillium price point though.

Some of the Price points on the beers lately have been out of control.
Did you see that latest beer from Dogfishhead, Higher Math.....$40+ for a 4 pack of 12oz. bottles....that's ridiculous. They just repackaged Bourbon County Stout in 16 oz. bottles for $14-$16 a piece.... |

Their brewing but it's not open to public yet. Selling the beers I Boston now.

I got those same two right before thanksgiving. Still great trillium quality, but I agree they are very pricey. One of them was $10 a bottle, which is not even the highest priced beer they sell.
|
Galaxy dry hopped fort point today, get it while you can.

I'm going after work

living across the street tonight, scored Galaxy, Melcher, Broken Angel and Trillium in small growlers, and Scaled, PM Dawn, Pot & Kettle, Day& Night in bottles.
|
this batch of scaled up is great. Very hazy. I went to canton for first time, impressive facility and nice to wait in line inside.

I went to Canton just to visit and try the tastings. Disappointed to find only 4 on tap for tasting and not Scaled Up. Guess I will have to pop my own bottle for that. Pretty surprised and disappointed that not much was put into the tasting/sampling side of things there. Lines are way longer than Fort Point as well. Friday at 4 only me and three others in line and that all fit inside.
