new (but not improved!)

just signed up and thought I'd give a 'tight lines' to the striped-bass forum and thanks for a great looking site.

I'm just up coastline from Planter - out of scituate harbor. I'd offer to chug up the river and pick him up, but last time I went up there the flies nearly carried me and my boat away!

foaming at the mouth for the cows to come home to the south shore!

Your right on the money jb. The No-See-ums will eat skeeters and blackflies for breakfast and then turn on you. I've been known to run screaming and crying off the marsh.
I am pretty fond off a few of the rock piles off Scituate/Cohasett. Nothing like tossing plugs into the white water when that tides just right. Catch you on the pond:wave:

The shad are still pretty thin up the old creek. Should be great after a couple more warm ones.

PLANTER:
The noseeums move in while you are busy swatting the greenheads! I'm convinced its a coordinated attack!

Lets hope those 'couple more warm ones' get here sooner rather than later, not looking too warm through the weekend. . . . . .
