ODB dead
 

just tried to get an inspection sticker for my 2007 GM Envoy.

garage said they plugged into the OBD port and it was dead; so they gave me a rejection sticker.

maybe a blown fuse or wiring issue? any experience with this? trying to avoid some getting slammed at the dealer for a few hundred if it's an easy fix.

Open the hood, in underhood fuse center check the LTR fuse #13 ,it's a 20 amp. The OBD2 diagnostic connector gets it's power from that fuse.

if the fuse is good....
or you replace a blown one
with a brand new one
you can use a test probe
to see if your getting JUICE
down to the port
