Marble shelf

I have to attach a small marble shelves to metal brackets what's the best way to do it. Construction adhesive?

Thanks

Just screw right into it, marble is very forgiving :hidin:

If the shelves are sitting right on the brackets I'm not sure what you would use besides some adhesive, although I might be inclined to just use clear silicone.

That being said, why are you putting marble shelves on metal brackets?

BC it looks good. Only 1 small shelf somewhere near the bathroom sink.

Wash both surfaces with an alcohol base cleaner.
Apply 3M 2 sided adhesive tape matching the width of the brackets (a heat gun to warm both surfaces will assure better adhesion)
It won’t go anywhere !

When installing granite counter tops, all they use is silicone. It should be fine for metal brackets too.
