Plenty of ice. No one has gone in yet. It is a very small body of water that is separated from a lake by a large peninsula. The peninsula has giant spruces that hide the area we fish from the sun. The water doesn't get deeper than 5 feet either. We never go alone, everyone has a rope, and everyone wears picks around their necks. Believe it or not, I don't go until I see it has been fished already. (the guys that do it are much bigger than I am and they tend to go in the afternoon) I scout the place out after work, and if I see they have been on it, and it is going to not go above freezing the rest of that day and get to the low 20's/teens at night, I am pretty sure I will be safe the next day. The formula has kept me dry so far.
